1. Booking and Payment
- Reservation: All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
- Minimum Duration: Private charters and fishing expeditions require a minimum booking of 2 hours.
- Pricing: Rates are based on the specific boat selected (e.g., 37ft “The Ocean” or 38ft “The World”) and the duration of the trip.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
- Customer Cancellations: Cancellations made within the timeframe specified during checkout are eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
- Weather Policy: If the Captain determines that weather conditions are unsafe for departure, we reserve the right to reschedule the trip or provide a full refund.
- No-Shows: Failure to arrive at the designated departure point (Jumeirah or Mina Rashid) at the scheduled time will result in a forfeiture of the booking fee.
3. Passenger Responsibilities
- Identification: All passengers must carry a valid original Passport or UAE ID as required by Dubai Coast Guard regulations.
- Safety: Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by the Captain and crew; life jackets are available for all passengers.
- Conduct: We reserve the right to terminate a trip without a refund if any passenger engages in illegal or hazardous behavior.
4. Fishing Regulations
- Legal Compliance: All fishing activities must comply with UAE federal laws and local Dubai environment regulations.
- Species Protection: Certain species may be catch-and-release only depending on seasonal regulations to preserve the marine ecosystem.
5. Liability
- Personal Belongings: Shams Al Ghuroob is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items (cameras, phones, jewelry) while on board.
- Risk: Passengers participate in maritime activities at their own risk.
